1. What is a cookie
This policy explains how Lava Intelligence Co., Ltd. ("the Company", "we") uses cookies on its official website lava.tw (including www.lava.tw, "this website").
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website stores in your browser. The next time you open the same website, your browser sends it back, so the website remembers your settings.
2. Which cookies we use
This website currently uses only the one cookie listed below:
| Name | Source | Purpose | Lifespan | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | lava.tw (first party) | Remembers the language you chose (Traditional Chinese or English) | Session, cleared when you close your browser | Essential |
This cookie is set only when you switch the language manually, or when the language of this website differs from your browser's language setting.
This website does not use localStorage or other local storage. Our hosting provider uses only standard browser caching to speed up loading. It does not set cookies and does not use them to identify you.
3. Why we use it
NEXT_LOCALE is used only so that when you return to the homepage, you see the language you chose last time. It is a cookie that is necessary to provide the service, so this website has no consent banner.
This website has no analytics tools, advertising tracking, or social plugins. We host our fonts ourselves, so browsing does not send requests to external services.
4. How to manage cookies
1. Browser settings
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The exact path varies slightly by version:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies, or Site settings > Cookies
- Safari (Mac): Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Safari (iPhone): Settings > Safari > Block All Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
2. What happens if you disable it
After you block or delete NEXT_LOCALE, you can still browse this website normally. The only difference is that each time you enter the homepage, the language is decided by your browser's language setting, and the language you switched to manually is not remembered.
5. Third parties and future changes
This website has no third-party cookies. The links on our pages to the App Store, Google Play, Instagram, and the partner venue page take you to those websites only after you click them. Their cookies are managed by those websites under their own policies.
If the Company adds analytics tools or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy before enabling them. We will list the tool name, provider, purpose, and lifespan, and give you a way to opt out.
6. Tracking technologies in the app
The SDKs inside the Lava app (error tracking, product analytics, and push notifications) and how they process data are described in the Lava Privacy Policy. This policy does not repeat those rules.
7. Revisions
The Company may revise this policy. For material changes, we will post a notice on this website 7 days before they take effect and update the date at the top of the page. The new version applies from the effective date stated in the notice.
